Homuradama - "Fireball"
This basis of this entire technique is fire. This swordsmanship requires a special sword called the Mugenjin

. You drag the sword on the ground, opponents sword, sheath etc. to create friction and a spark that will light the end of the blade on fire. The fire burns off of human fat(in shishio's case). It is supposed to cut and burn at the same time.

Guren Kaina - "Scarlet Lotus Arm"
This requires a glove soaked in gunpowder. You must be close to the opponent, you start by igniting your glove(the one soaked in gunpowder) with your homuradama(above) and the glove will explode, hurting the opponent. It may blow off your hand if not done right.

Kaguzuchi - "Fire Cliff Spirit God"
This technique is named after the chinese fire god. It is similar to Homruadama, except you drag the entire sword along the sheath to get the whole blade encircled in flames. This is the best attack of the Homura Dama. You can see why its named after the fire god.
